AROLITHOS is a small charming, picturesque village near Heraklion. It is situated 11 kilometers outside Heraklion, following the old way to Rethimnon.
Τhe museum of Agricultural History and Popular Art is an additional part of the cultural "fresco" of AROLITHOS. The exhibits are precious elements of Cretan civilization and they are displayed to the public in order to achieve its spiritual and historical training. Additionally, the museum contributes to the identification and distinction of the Cretan identity, which is different from that of the other nations.
