Overview

Kasteli is situated about 60 km west of Chania town. Set at the bottom of the Kissamos Bay, this is an area with dramatic natural beauty, since it is defined by the two peninsulas of western Crete. The town of Kasteli is not a resort, but the pebble-and-sand beach and the taverns provide a pleasant break if on a drive west.
