Overview

Kato Stalos (Lower Stalos) is near Galalas, and is eight kilometers far from Chania. In Kato Stalos there is a very clean and long beach, awarded yearly with the blue flag. Hotels, rental rooms, apartments, restaurants and many souvenir shops are found in the village. They are situated along the street next to the beach. One and a half kilometers away, and 150 meters higher, you will find Pano Stalos (Upper Stales). It is a traditional village of 319 inhabitants with a unique natural beauty and a picturesque view.
