Megala Horafia village is located in Apokoronas, Western Crete. Built on a hill top over looking the sea, this village has roots going back to Minoan times. A ten minute drive from beautiful sandy beaches, the village is situated in a quiet corner far away from any interruptions.
Visit the Ancient ruins of Aptera only 2 km away and see the Roman aquaducts and bath house; archeologists have still not completed excavations here; the site is so big!
