Overview

Mochlos is situated 42 km east of Agios Nikolaos. The least beach town before Sitia, east of Agios Nikolaos, Mochlos and the small locations around it feature some narrow stretches of sand but a lot of character. The crowd is mainly European couples that seem to come back every year, giving the place an air of neighborly camaraderie. The seaside taverns are pretty, and the menus are seafood and cretan specialties. A typical Cretan fishing village.
