Overview

The beautiful beach of Agios Georgios lies in the southwest part of the island 35km from Corfu town. The beach is 3,5km long and has 25m average sand width.
Visitors say that it is the most beautiful and cleanest beach of the island of Feakes. According to the Greek mythology it is believed that the mythical kingdom of King Alkinoos (Kingdom of Feakes) was built on the beach of Agios Georgios.

The beach of Agios Georgios offers the visitors apart from its clean  sea and the long  sandy beach, water sports (ski-windsurfing -parachute), boats for renting, small bars and club, bowling, super markets,  faculty of submarine dives, as well as amazing spots for walking,  photographs and the unique sunset from the village of Afiona.
