Overview

Built around a smallish natural harbor on the northeastern tip of Kefalonia, and surrounded by cypress, fir, and olive trees, the small fishing village of Fiskardo has become a major tourist magnet in the last 15 years, and an August hotspot for European yacht vacationers. Except for a few berths still reserved for traditional, and operational, fishing boats, the entire harbor serves as a sailboat and motor yacht marina.
