Overview

It has about 500 residents, and you will find it on the southeastern part of the island, 12 km away from the city.

It is a traditional style village, north of Kerkyra city, attracting thousands of visitors every year, who come to admire the royal mansion of the Empress Elizabeth of Austria, otherwise known as Sissy. You can get there by way of the coastal Kerkyra-Lefkimi bypass.
