Overview

Pefkohori is one of the most beautiful villages of Chalkidiki, on the verge of the peninsula of Kassandras. Its name (pine-village) can give an idea of how it is. The village consists of 2 departments.

The first of them, is the old village with the typical narrow roads, the beautiful square, the restaurants and the various shops, where someone can meet the traditional hospitality of residents of the region and can enjoy the beautiful gardens with the lemon trees, the jasmine and the roses. On the other hand, there is the second modern and developed department of the beach of the village, offering a modern life, an endless sandy beach and an equally splendid blue sea, constituting the heart of the "Secret Paradise" of Chalkidiki. With the sundown, the lights of the bars, discos and restaurants prepare you for the beggining of a different type of life.

The restaurants with the exceptional service, the police personnel and the amazing dishes that satisfy even the most strict customer, will help the visitors to adapt to a night life full of suprises. In the morning, the various means of a transport give the opportunity to every one to visit the neighbouring regions, but if somebody prefers to remain in the village he can wander in the pinewood that gave its name to the village. Pefkohori is found in a distance of 105 km from Thessalonica.
