Overview

On the way out of Chios to the south, one can follow the street along the coast and the area Kontari, past the airport, leading to the sandy beach of Karfas (at 6 km from Hora).  It is an excellent sandy beach, which, unfortunately, due to the exrteme and uncontrolled touristic development lately, has lost its natural beauty.
