Overview

It has been the most important commercial centre of the 24 villages of Pilio. The hotel "Theoxeneia", after 1900, was considered as the biggest and most luxurious in Balkans. Interesting are its neoclassic mansions, from which many function as hostels. Every year, in the end of August, revives the custom of Pilio marriage.
