TERMS OF RESERVATION FOR CARS

DRIVERS QUALIFICATIONS:

• The minimum age of the driver must be 21 years for groups A, B, C. For bigger groups 25 years old.
• Valid driving license, held at least one (1) year.
• All drivers must be Credit Card holders or else a deposit of 500€ is required.

MINIMUM RENTAL DURATION:

The minimum rental duration is 3 days.

TRAFFIC FINES:

Tickets and subsequent administrative sanctions resulting from traffic violations during the rental period are at the renter΄s expenses.

PAYMENT:

The total rental amount is to be pre- paid.

INSURANCE:

Rental rates include the following coverages:

• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).
• Theft protection.
• Third party insurance.
• CDW doesn’t cover the first 650 euros for groups A,B,C, 750 for groups D,K,T and 1100 for group Y, of each accident.
• Third party insurances covers up to 100.000 Euro for damages to property and up to 500.000 for death and injury. The insurance coverage is NOT valid in case the driver is under drug or alcohol influence.
• Fire Protection
  Any change in VAT or local tax as well as any substantial increase of insurance costs will affect the rates quoted.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER:

The additional driver costs 5€

GASOLINE:

All cars will be delivered with a full tank of petrol. For rentals over 3 days, customers will be asked to pre-pay a full tank of petrol and return the car empty. For 1-2 day rentals, if car is not returned with the same quantity of fuel as Hertz delivered it, then the difference in gasoline quantity will be paid by the customer plus the refueling service charge.

BABY SEATS:

Baby seats will be charged 5€ daily.

CHANGE OF CAR TYPE:

The company has the right to change the type of the car with another type in special occasions.

FERRYING THE CAR:

It is only allowed with the written authorization of AUTO PAPAS S.A.

DELIVERIES / COLLECTIONS:

• Deliveries and/or collections are on request. Minimum charge 21.5 Euro (each way).
• Night deliveries/collections are charged 35.5 Euro (office hours 08:00 – 21:00 daily, all year round).

Prices

• Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) 8% on the mentioned rates
• The prices for all cars that are listed in the website www.helleniczeus.gr include unlimited mileage, taxes, charges for all services and all other expenses that are given in detail in the web page of each car.
• The Company Helleniczeus SA maintains the right to change the listed prices in the website www.helleniczeus.gr at any time, without any previous notice.

Payments

• For car reservation through the website www.helleniczeus.gr the prepayment of the total sum is required via credit card VISA, MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS or via bank deposit.
• In case of charging a credit card the purchaser will receive through e-mail an electronic payment receipt.
• For each reservation, there will be the respective electronic bulletin of reservation (voucher) which will be sent to the purchaser through e-mail and which the renter has to present for the rendering of services.
• The payment receipt and the electronic voucher, after being issued will be saved in the personal service MyHelleniczeus of the website www.helleniczeus.gr and the purchaser will have free access and the possibility of printing them by using his personal codes (username and password).

Cancellations and changes

Extension of reservation

• If the purchaser wishes to extend car rental after car pickup, the company Helleniczeus SA cannot guarantee that he will continue to rent the same car in the same price.
• If the purchaser wishes to extend car rental, before car pickup, he must communicate in time with the responsible administrators of Helleniczeus SA.

 

Changes

• In order to change the dates of car rental, the purchaser must communicate in time with the responsible administrators of Helleniczeus SA.
• In case where the purchaser wishes to shorten the duration of car rental, there will be no reimbursement of money from Helleniczeus SA after the car pickup. In any other case, he will have to communicate in time with the responsible administrators of Helleniczeus SA.

 

Cancellation of reservation

• If the purchaser wishes to cancels his car rental, he must communicate in time with the responsible administrators of Helleniczeus SA.
• The purchaser maintains the right to cancel car rental at any time, with the following sanctions:

 

Cost of cancellation of reservation

No showing up of purchaser for car pickup on set date	100% of the total cost of stay is retained
Cancellation 0 - 30 days before car pickup	100% of the total cost of stay is retained
Cancellation 31 - 60 days before car pickup	50% of the total cost of stay is retained
Cancellation 61 days or more before car pickup	Reimbursement of the total sum of the cost
The reimbursement of the money by the company Helleniczeus SA to the purchaser will be made either to his credit card or by bank remittance (the transfer expenses will be charged to the purchaser). For any further information regarding the terms of reservation, please contact us
